Nostalgia

So this photo is from last summer when my family and I went to Greece. It was absolutly undoubtably the best trip of my life and I would go back there in a heartbeat. It was very warm that day and we were walking around a lot and going to the Acropolis and visiting some museums so I wore these comfy gladiator sandels (when in greece right?). And this awesome tshirt dress I bought for about 10 bucks, which is so comfy and I love it. The bag was very "beachy" which was perfect for Greece because we did see a lot of beaches. That Starbucks was right across from our hotel the FIRST day we were there and I took the photo for my friend who works there. Anyways I thought I'd post some of these while I was being nostalgic, and I plan on uploading some of awesome photographs I took of the amazing landscapes out there pretty soon! Hope you'll enjoy them. OH and check out my flickr for some more Greece pictures (bottom of the page)

Vamp

So my man made me dinner and since I had been studying alll week long I decided to dressup!! I really love this leopard dress, it has pockets!! I love skirts and dresses with pockets they're the best! I bought this onesie last summer when I had a superhero themed birthday party, I actually really like it though. It's super comfy and looks great with lots of skirts! Backless is pretty sexy sometimes too and I needed a little sexy pick me up, studying makes me feel pretty blah. Well only one more week till I'm free from finals!! Have a great weekend

StudyStudyStudy...Death

I had my last day of classes last monday and since then have been studying my brain out of my ears. I had a final yesterday and a final today, one more friday then monday and tuesday. THEN I'M DONE!! Then I will experience freedom and euphoria.....Except that I must start working full time right away to pay for next year. Ahh the life of a student. But really I am very excited to be done for the term, it's been a rough one, I only really truly enjoyed one of my classes out of five. Thankfully it's the most important class I have and I did really well in it. Anyways this is an outfit I wore while studying for 6 hours at a local coffee shop. This sweater is amazing and I love it. Not only is it unbelievably comfortable and light but it's such a pretty colour, how could I say no? It's going to be great for spring/summer nights, I'm already planning outfits in my head for it.

Outfit: Black button down guess tank top, forever 21 jeans, studded shoes, forever 21 pink sweater, white raybans I'm a loon....

Hello Lover

Hello lover, hello summer

So it's been about 25 degrees C, for the past three days, it feels amazing considering just over a week ago it snowed (Seriously, welcome to Alberta). I have finals right now but I'm still enjoying the sun, I've been taking advantage of our large deck and doing my studying back there. And I must admit I already have a wee bit of a burn on my shoulders! Naughty sun. I even wore my SPF 30. It's because I'm quite fair, I barely even tan, but that's okay. So here are some things I've come across that one NEEDS (some maybe just wants) to get you through the spring/summer season:

Everyone needs a fabulous shirt dress, I lovelovelove this one

Strapless, lovely colours, need I say more

Florals, how I love thee, so perfect for spring and summer

A big fabulous floppy hat, perfect for keeping the sun out of your face

Some sun tan lotion, you HAVE to be skin friendly, protect your skin and it will always look fabulous

Protect those gorgeous baby blues, greens or browns of yours! My choice for eyeprotection is ray bans or aviators, they look great with everything

Hope you are all as excited as I am for the transition to bare legs, sandles, sundresses and long warm summer days!

April snow brings May flowers?

So this morning when I left for school it was sunny, birds singing, about 5 degrees celcius, and by the time I got to my hair appointment at 4pm it was winds blowing 50km/hr, snowing, and very chilly. This is what it means to live in Alberta alright. Just as I've started to bust out my spring wardrobe it snows....again. I was feeling so great when it started to warm up and the sun was shining and now it's nasty out again. But the saying goes here "If you don't like the weather...wait five minutes" words I've come to live by.
Hopefully this picture will inspire the weather to smarten up! This was one of the first photos I took using an SLR about 4 summers ago. Sigh, I want to see green and colour outside!

Easter Sunday, Pastel colours and punk rock legs
I went shopping on Friday because it's been getting nicer and nicer out and I wanted to really get into the spring vibe. I bought this fantastic jacket from H &M and I love it, it's just like my leather jacket but much lighter and will go perfect with all my dresses. I am very excited to try it out with everything. It was Easter Sunday today so we had a biggg big dinner and I wanted to dress up, however this skirt was not good for all the turkey eating! I wore jeans with this in the morning while I was studying because it's almost crunch time and I have sooo much stuff to get done.
I bought this skirt a month ago and I really do like it, but some of the time I feel like it's a little too tight, it doesn't feel like it fits right. I'm going to keep testing it out with different things, see how I feel then. You know when you have something in your closet that you love but that you're just not certain of? Oh well I did manage to find a lot of great deals and bargains when I went to WEM though. Ahh probably the best part of living in Edmonton is West Edmonton Mall, the largest mall in North America. I put up with the snow, the cold, the lack of stuff to do etc, but I know I would miss the mall here (obviously among other things).
I hope everyone ate lots of yummy food this weekend and had relaxed a bit!
