Rainy Day Love

Hello Loves!! Happy Leap day, can you believe it's the end of february?! Crazy how time flys. But that means time for one last heart themed look

It was super rainy one of the days I was in Vancouver (which is to be expected) but I wasn't going to let that stop our adventures. I dragged my brother down to Granville Market where we bought some tasty fresh fruit, tasty deserts and had lunch. Since I live in Alberta, I didn't have an umbrella so we had to stop off to pick me up one. I fell in love with this one immediately! And since it was so gloomy out I put on my brightest outfit. Bright purple dress, teal scarf and sweater and bright yellow nails. I love the marketplace here, so much fun

Leather and Lace

Unfortunately, I am on my way home from my amazing trip to Vancouver to see my brother. we had SUCH a fun time, we always do. It's by far my favorite Canadian city and I can't wait to get back out there again. But now it is back to real life and a foot and a half of fresh snow....

Connor and I decided to go on a photographic adventure on thursday, we walked all over downtown, and kitsilano taking pictures. We walked a total of 13 km that day and it was so much fun, one of the reasons I love Van so much is being able to walk all over and see the beautiful scenary. We wandered our way over to gastown and went down the back alley and took some pictures with the graffiti. Perfect backdrop for my rocker esque look.

Double Dose of Gingham

Greetings from Vancouver my dears!! I landed wednesday night and met my brother at the airport. It's so nice to see him and it's even better to be in Vancouver where theres no snow! Green grass! These photos are obviously from before I left. And apparently it snowed in Edmonton today, sweet.
This dress is actually a purchase from Vancouver, about 3 years (and probably 5 trips) ago. I love gingham, and black and white, and who doesn't love a shirt dress?! The ruffles on the front are a great detail, although they need to be ironed. This jacket is even older, I bought it in 11th grade but still love it! Especially since the inside is gingham print too.
Also, if anyone is looking for a girls best friend (Diamonds, not Duke this time) you should check out Birks Canadian Diamonds they're gorgeous canadian diamonds. Who doesn't love things that are Canadian (like me!). I'm in the market for a pair of plain stud earrings to get me back into wearing earrings, how gorgeous are these ones?! Now if only I had the money!

Rhythm of my Heart

Good Morning my dears! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I certainly did, it's been an excellent start to my week off school. Just what I needed! And I scored a goal at soccer last night, first one!

This is something I wore last week, I have really been loving mixing teal with pinks and mustards lately. I thought this scarf would go perfect with my heart print dress! I got this bright neon nail polish the other day and absolutely love the pop it gives. I loved all these bright shades together, wearing these colours definitely puts me in a good mood.

Hello my darlings! I hope your week is going well, mine has been pretty good, I am so very excited for reading week to start. Only a few more days of classes left!! I also hope everyone had a good heart day! My dad made us steak, crab, veggies, mashed potatoes and for desert lots of fruit covered in chocolate. Yum. 

This is pretty heart appropriate outfit. I had been looking for a "LRD" little red dress for a while now, I found one I loved at UO but at $90 it was waaay out of my price range. When I found this one at F21 for $35 I knew it was for me. I love the red, lace, and scooped neckline in front and back. I added my studded belt, heart tights and some sparkly flats. I absolutely love these tights and am sad they have a run in them already. I can guarantee you will be seeing this dress again soon ;)

Hello my loves!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, I most certainly did :) I have a midterm today and a really hard lab tomorrow but friday means reading week. And reading week means I get to go to Vancouver for 3 days 23-the morning of the 27th.

  It was so gorgeous out the day I took these pictures, sun shining, +5, put me in an especially good mood :) And to top it off I was wearing my super bright neon scarf I recently picked up from F21. No one can be in a bad mood when wearing neon. I love the pop it gives against the blue/green dress and my leather jacket. This dress is one of my favourites, 3 leaf clover hearts! Perfect print for Heart month and (almost) Valentines day without being super "valentiney" which is not a word. I'm actually not a fan of Valentines day, but I am a fan of any sort of heart print/red/pink/reason to dress in a theme :)

PS. Sorry the pictures are sooo bright, but I couldn't not stand in the sunshine on such a gorgeous day
