Garden in the Greenhouse

Hey there!! I hope you all had an amazing weekend, I most certainly did. I went out dancing for the first time in over a year and had a blast with my friends! It was the most fun I've had in a long time. And I may have had one or two (or three or four) pints. 

We went out to a greenhouse for my mom's birthday yesterday to pick out some plants for her, since she's obsessed with gardening. I wore something cute and casual, my zombie tee, favourite polka dot skirt and loads of colourful accessories. I can't get enough of these coral flats, my new bright orange nail polish and of course my green purse.

Happy Birthday to my Mum!!

The living is easy

Good Morning loves! It's Friday and I'm really looking forward to the weekend, going out with some girlfriends, and then it's my mom's birthday so I'm taking her so we can get pedicures and  then out for dinner Sunday evening.

I got sent this beautiful bracelet from anjolee in the mail this week and was so excited. It's gorgeous, with little green gemstones which I asked for because it's my birthstone and I don't have any jewellery with my birthstone in it. They do custom jewellery so you can basically make any piece unique to what you'd like. They have a great selection of diamond bracelets, stud earrings as well as bangle bracelets the perfect thing to add a little sparkle to any look. 

It was so gorgeous earlier this week, it's cold and wet now but for a moment it felt like spring and I even busted out one of my favourite summer dresses I got last year. It's the perfect thing for a warm day! Hopefully we have more of those coming our way soon...

Set Phasers to Stun

Hello Dears! Hope your week is going well and you're enjoying some nice spring weather. It's rainy here, but it seems to have perked everything up, things look like they're turning green and blossoming!!

I just picked up this dress from H&M, the pattern is so fun and almost looks like a Rorschach drawing, I took a class where we got to learn how to look at them. It was really interesting, although this dress is a lot less open to interpretation than those prints. I added my leather jacket and some studded bracelets to toughen it up. My little brother was taking my pictures and told me this look didn't "go" but since I rarely make my sartorial choices on the opinion of 17 year old boys I told him he didn't know what he was talking about. 

Oh hey, these are my legs and they haven't been this naked since October! Paleness!

Springing

Good morning darlings!! I hope you had an amazing weekend. I had a great weekend, a lot of fun with friends and relaxing in the sunshine. It's finally gotten nicer out, and I've been taking Duke on some really long walks, which he's loving. 

This is something I wore to work and then out for a nice long Duke walk. I am loving green, pink and my denim jacket as of late. It's all perfect for spring, and it's nice enough now I think I can go tightless! Bare legs? Sunshine? I am going to be in my glory. This checked dress is a long standing staple in my wardrobe, I love it.

Casual Sunday

Hello There! Happy Sunday to everyone. I hope you all had an especially good weekend, I definitely did. Had my last exam Friday and I have been enjoying my time off since then and celebrating my freedom (until the second week of may when I have more classes)

 I took a break from 6 hours of mind numbing studying Thursday to take Mr. Duke for a walk in the gorgeous spring weather. I was wearing my super comfy jeans, which now have a giant hole in the knee (which obviously gives them character) and my pineapple silk top. I've finally decided it was spring enough to break out my bright green bag and some coral hued flats too.

Big Red

Ello There!! I hope your week is going well. I am off to write a final and then immediately cram all day/night for my one friday. Then freeeedom!

I took a break from studying Tuesday night to accompany my fellow bloggers down to Mercedes Benz start up fashion show. Which was absolutely amazing, SO much local talent. I was blown away by the designs, the venue, how professional everything was, and of course the food ;) A huge congrats to Malorie who has moved to the next round. She definitely deserves it!

I had been studying alllll day so it was kind of nice to get a little dressed up! This dress is actually a nightgown from U.O. I love the glitter on it and decided to pair it with my denim jacket, and some pops of red. I was so excited to get to wear my new platforms, I bought them and then of course it snowed. They're ridiculously comfortable and I am planning on wearing them a ton this summer

Print Addiction

Good morning!! A fairly quick post, as I am off to spend the day studying my face off (not literally, I hope) Those two finals at the end of the week sure are looming. But soon it will be done !

I wore this for work and school a little while ago. I really love this heart print skirt. So much so that I bought a dress with the exact same pattern! I think I have a heart print addiction, there's rehab for that right?! I love pale pink, with black and grey, of course a punch of yellow never hurt anyone either ;)

Casual Sunday

These pictures are from a few weeks ago when it was actually still nice out. It has snowed AGAIN, it snows, melts, gets really nice out and then snows again. I'm getting a wee bit sick of this. Just stay nice, okay weather? This is going to be a crazy week, two finals! Time to buckle down, I am so excited for this term to be done though.

I love taking Mr. Duke for long walks, especially with my little brother, we blast music, sing and dance around. It's always a lot of fun, and I can't wait for it to be warm  so we can go for even more. I am loving these bright colourful pants lately, they're a lot of fun. And who doesn't love some polka dots and denim?!
